Under the new import rules, customs duties must be paid before goods can be shipped to the United States. U.S. Customs has not yet provided details on how the payment process will work. Postal operators in various countries currently lack systems to collect the required customs duties. As a result, the Finnish Post was forced to temporarily suspend the sending of commercial goods to the United States effective August 23, 2025.
European postal operators are working closely with U.S. customs authorities and the Universal Postal Union to find a solution. The common goal is to resume goods traffic as soon as possible.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding in this instance.
Shipping via DHL Express remains possible.
